I just read that interview, pretty cool.. but uh.. why was he asking about the obscure video when its so old, he could've focused on something more recent.. Lol, Die was just like 'uh.. I don't really remember....'

Birthdays:
I would say as they're getting older now they'll probably do something a little more toned down, but it just doesn't seem their style - I bet they'll still be out partying 'til 5am!

And no one knows what about.. he just said once that he'll 'reveal all' when he turns 30.. I guess came from the him being all quiet so he agreed to stop being secretive at 30, right? I dunno, I never saw where it originally came up, just heard about it..

I never knew where the "shinya's gonna reveal it all at the age of 30" came from i just remember watching a Fan made video about shinya and that' where i found that out

Hmm, seeing as this thread seems to be unorganized, I think I'll post my random stupidness here...
I live in a boarding house at a girl's Catholic school (sorta funny since I'm a transexual pagan) and we have this talent show every year. At the end we're doing a choir performance and singing in different languages.
No Japanese. Even though they promised me.
"Oh, well no one here is from Japan, so instead we have Korean/Thai/Mandarin/Cantonese" blahblahblah
So of course, I had to retaliate by having my solo piece be in Japanese.

Tsumi to Batsu anyone? *cracks up* And no one will know I sing of raep...I lied and said it was about a breakup when they said they wanted a description

I want to be able to perform something at the multicultural assembly we have sometime in feb...but everyone thinks my music is stupid and I'm too shy to ask around to find ppl to perform with me

I really think you should perform something, it'd be great! I'd come do it with you! ya know, if I didn't live several countries away and have no musical talent what-so-ever... But I bet theres loads of people that want to perform and have no one to do it with, isn't there somewhere you can post a notice so you don't have to ask anyone directly?
 
@ joaniedark yo, if you can really sing, do like hotarubi/cage/zakuro/aatd/anyother singy song or something >: D Talent shows are so much fun. I would probably attempt clever sleazoid. Just cause I'll have the power to make people's ears bleed. Also scream my favorite lines. WAN DAI AI FOOCH YO PARENTS >: | SOUP! BREAKFAST! COOOL SWEATRRRRRrrRRrRR!

Anyways. I love how we haven't heard anything from deg in over a month xD (maybe they are secretly still touring somewhere completely random like Alaska) D:
 
^lol that'd be so random if they were touring Alaska. I've tried the whole screaming thing, but my vocal chords can't take it still (try screaming while you're stressed, helps alot)

@ Real Cinderella hahaha I think being several countries away would be quite a problem I have ways of getting people to perform with me. I'm in a special music program at school so finding the right instrument players isn't hard. I want to be more confident in my abilities before I go to other people though.

I think I read somwehere they were starting on a new album at the start of 2008, which I guess explains the lack of news 'til they get some info about that ready to release...
 
joaniedark- welcome!! thats cool about the singing thing... im actually doing something similar, but its for auditions for college and im not sure if i should do Dir en grey or something more... "light" XD i agree with manrykyro... maybe "tsumi to batsu" would sound kind of out of place... not to mention hard to sing. but aaah, sometimes its good the songs we like are in japanese, no? XD i mean, like you said, that way no one will know about the content, there... XD so funny... "a bad relationship"... i guess you could say that about tsumi to batsu... XDDDD

but yea! welcome! stick around!
