I'm surprised I didn't find this thread sooner. I'm a really big Diru fan. ^^ So I'm new here, nice to meet you all. :]

I like Shinya best. XP

I saw them in February at Marquee Theatre~ I bribed my parents to let me go. They were really good, except that Shinya didn't really look at the crowd when he threw the drumsticks out. T.T It was fun nonetheless. And Kaoru's tuning sequence at the beginning was so cute 'cos he was speaking strangled English. XD

Now I have Diru stuff randomly lying around my room, poster, dog tag, t-shirt, etc, that I have to pick up before it gets vacuumed up. *runs away*
 
Hi Hara Kei, nice to meet you ^.^ I'm not really new to Jref, but I haven't been on in a long time either XD. Isn't Diru the best?!?!? I saw them in Feb. at the Wiltern and they rocked out to the point where I cried XD. Oh yeah, how's everyone doing? I haven't been on the internet at all for the past couple of months....what did I miss? LOL

Oh yes, Nao is my husband in my pathetic little mind XD. And yes, they were absolutely AMAZING!!! I laughed like a retard when Toshiya threw the mike-stand back stage and almost hit one of the people XD. And I got to see them leave in their bus to! My friend got a picture of Toshiya and Shinya going down the stairs from the building. Toshiay even waved at us!! Such an awesome night!!!! How did you like the concert?
 
i thought it was amazing! there's nothing like being able to see your gods perform! lol
you noticed toshiya throwing the mic stand too?! i told my friend about it but she said she missed it. and kyo tossing around his crate on stage with the roadies trying to fix it back in place! lol its a night i will never forget! You got to see them leave? i wanted to but my brother came to pick me up as soon as it ended

I know what you mean! Diru is my fav band EVER!!!! I don't blame your friend for missing him throw the stand, they were all so eye-catching it was nearly impossible to see them all at once XD.

There was actually a big group of people waiting outside at first, but then the security was thrwoing us back and forth cuz they were actually letting us stay without permission, yeah....people got fed up with the wait so there was only about 6 of us left XD. It would've been cool for you to see them afterwards, even though it took a hella long time XD.

Nao is my #1 husband, aside from Die and Aoi XD Aoi is more of a sex slave though ^.^ LOL

I actually got there, expecting a super long line, but it actually wasn't very long at all, even though I got there half an hour before the show. >.> In fact, the whole revenue wasn't very packed at all, only in the front, but that was expected. :}

But I loved it when Toshiya leapt, held up his bass, and nearly tripped over Kyo's jacket.

You're lucky you got to see them leave. XD
 
wow, you're lucky! People lined up three days before the show at the wiltern! i got there @ 12 on the day of the show and the line was almost wrapped around the block!!!
Next time i'm lining up at least one night before lol
 
For English (or European) Diru fans, Kerrang! are offering two tickets for the price of one for the August 1st London date through aloud.com.

Just incase anyone wants to go and hasn't got tickets yet.

I'd go but there's the issue of money and finding somewhere to stay this close to the date. If they were playing nearer to me (say Newcastle Academy rather than Islington Academy) I'd...well, ok I'd be cursing myself because I would have paid full price for tickets the day they went on sale, heh. We need more JRock in the North.
 
Going to concerts is fun, but when you not have enough money, and place to stay... is not fun...

its mostly in california like barely any in arizona mostly white and mexican....i went with Hara_Kei ^^

Yes, it's far xD But they will be in Germany the previous day, so from there it's not far Well, RIGHT NOW it is very warm (for me ), the temperature varies between 20°C - 40°C (Celsius scale), I wish it was 15°C though :/
 
lol...im not sure how hot or cold that is in fahrenheit. im dont know celsius. why do all the japanese bands go to europe? WHY!?!?
 
THEY DON'T!! Well they seem to like Germany... but a lot of European countries have seen very little J-rock!! Although sayin that, a lot do seem to be thinking of us recently... but compaired to the US and some asian countries we are doin very badly!


TOMORROW I LEAVE ON MY TRAVELS TO GERMANY WHERE I SHALL SEE DIR EN GREY!! YAYS! ^-^
 
@CharismaticDeath: yea they seem to like germany...i think only dir en grey has made multiple trips to the us. im not sure of others though i dont really keep track. but they usually do go to asian places like korea and china and taiwan more.
