that is soo stupid..either you have constructive critizism on a music group referring to their playing or you just shut up and don't write anthying like that.

We live in a world where criticism can't be avoided. It's just the way they deliver their criticism that would annoy or hurt people. I didn't like what was said about the two bands. Again, it's the way they talk about something. I don't know...I don't like the WAY it's said.
 
I agree....I think that saying

Is not really necessary. Actually, it's kind of rude. If one is to write a review about a concert, they should take in to consideration that each person is different than another and we all don't act the same. I wonder if the person who wrote it took into consideration how hard each band worked to make the live memorable...
 
OMG... I can't even explain how i feel about that article..
And the fact that they had to COMPARE Dir en Grey.. that really pisses me off... They are definitly not an IMPORT they are one of the best bands ever

That's not Criticism...thats just being rude
 
^ eH....everyone has their own opinions. It's kinda frustrating to hear someone talk bad about the band you like but then again you don't like the band that the author is writing about so it works both ways.

i'm sad that they cut out conceived sorrow and nama
instead they played III D Empire and Merciless Cult

maybe next time i'll get to hear it....I shoulda went to the friday show....
 
i like die wih red hair better....but i guess he looks alright im just more used to his red hair
 
I'm so happy they're playing so many songs...would have been worth it to go see them if they had played anywhere near where I live. Alas, I hope you guys had a fun time.

Die + blond hair = ok. Just ok. I'm not swooning with happiness (as I would if he went back to the awesome red hair of the past), but I'm not going to hold hair choices against him.

And the article...mleh. *angry face*
 
i miss die's red hair and i miss kyo's black mane, i think they are both sexier with those mane

Aw, you guys, there's no need to get worked up over the article. Yeah, the wording was a bit annoying, but that's what critics do- they explicitly share an opinion, whether it sounds harsh or not. And it's usually harsh to some degree. Not everyone's gonna absolutely love Diru, and if someone finds them bland and shares it, so be it. Not everyone is going to praise them to high heaven.

It'll be oookay. XD The article was mostly just Deftones pimpage, anyway. It can't be helped if the opening acts were brushed off by the writer, but it happens.

So yeah- can't remember if anyone's mentioned or not, but is anyone else going to the Minneapolis (aka not Minneapolis, actually Maplewood) show? : D
 
DAKKII:ASOM is ok its just sam plays it over and over agen in my ear while talking about his girlfriend and I cant take anymore of the song lol i swear if he plays it agen ill take his psp and smash it up
 
I had a great time at the show. We even stayed for a few of the Deftones songs. My friend said he liked them the first time they came out... when they were Limp Biskit. The eye of the beholder, my friends.

But that article was unecessarily rude. Comparing DEG to Disturbed is ridiculous. The opinion could have been stated without sinking to that level. Says more about the authors writing talent than it does about the bands. Anyone can learn to write pretty, having substance to back it up is the real trick. I liked Kyo's new do, btw.

On August 8th I'm going to my very first Dir en grey koncert, so I'm pretty psyched about that!

article-ness- yea... i wish it didn't exist, but whatever. there's no way to get around it =/ i guess i could understand not quite comprehending diru live, because they don't focus on technicality live, but emotion... i guess i can't blame him *sigh* though he was really rude and makes me hate deftones even though i haven't heard their music. i know that's bad, but when people from the 'deftones camp' say stuff insulting the things i love, how can i love them? baaaad planning, dude... this was your chance...

i kinda miss die's red... since it was the one thing diru kept from the olden days... i love their recent stuff actually more than their old stuff as a whole, i think, but it was nice to have one throw-back for nostalgia's sake... he'll change it back eventually i think...

i didn't like kyo's hair black... i think it belongs blond too... it compliments him the best that way in my opinion ^_^ though it looked awesome black for drain away...

kyo's new hair=bob XD hmm... don't hate it... just think it's goofily endearing XD i liked it longish and shaved on the sides best... inward scream was just amazing hair days <3

haha me too. Kyo looked great. And he did his sexy dancing alot....along with some weird dancing lol. Toshiya was looking exceptionally well to me too (not that he doesn't look good regularly).

Dakkii-My friends Are really annoying Sam always Playing Diru Down one ear Merci playing Linkin park down another joe Feeding Me grapes (actually that part isnt so bad i actually quite like i but im not gonna tell hi, that then he will stop lmao) I Actually said to sam y do u like diru so much He goes Because if Kyo...Hes umm...Cute??? A guy thinks a guy is cute lol what is the newest Diru song anyway 10 years they been going i Think have they split up No ok then Dont mind me im only a fool and im in love with shinya and die

I loved the weird dancing! The friend I took says Kyo's pretty hot, and he actually liked the music! I'm shocked because of his tastes, not because he likes DEG. I noticed there were a few DEG fans in the audience. I also noticed that my friend and I weren't the only ones to leave when they were done... They are truly the best. Can't wait till they come back.
 
@hitsugimad- XD that put a really funny picture in my head of your friends playing guitar right into your ears and the other one stuffing grapes in your mouth XD that's a horrible reason to like diru though... sorry your friends are like that!

diru's most recently written song is LIE BURRIED WITH A VENGEANCE, i think, as they wrote it on the tourbus at FVT. but the most recently released songs are the ones off "The Marrow of a Bone" cd (minus the singles ASOM, CS, and ryoujoku no ame) ^_^

jrockers... can't dance XD it's cute, though. i like kyo's "sexy squiggling around" dance that he does.

@Bloodlust- PREACH! yay for converting people! several people who went for deftones also made the switch to diru from what i've heard ^_^ o'm glad. from my *inside info*, Diru's coming back to the states in the winter. CAN'T FOOCHING WAIT! i feeling like i'm living from jrock concert to jrock concert these days... inward scream was the best night of my life, i think

after the concert i felt kinda down because I had nothing else to look forward to. All I had is work and then waiting to go back to school.

It'll be great if they did come back in the winter. Haha I asked Harry if Diru would be back soon and he said he didn't think so since they came so many times this year already lol. Though he's a sneak sometimes But I wonder if I'LL have time to go to any more concerts soon.....

i felt the same after IS... like the dazed "wow... i can die now" feeling XD

a friend of mine's dad was sitting next to Diru in a restaurant while my friend was in line. he asked when they were coming back and they said winter... it sounds WAY soon, but i'll take any scrap of hope i can XD
