Dir en grey

it's red. it's always red ^_^ i speak from seeing the godly-red-die-hair in feb. at inward scream... before that it was half red and half black (i'll upload pics when i'm *not* so lazy... plus, i wanna watch 'despair in the womb' right noe =3 diru has such a way of naming things XD oh well... i need to get it all out, since i've spent this whole day watching 'america's next top model' and trying to forget about as much US history as possible... AP tests just happened...)

you know what diru song is underrated? gauze-mode of adam-... i love that thing...

Hmm.. Dir en Grey looks soo decent now than what they did before! Anyway as I mentioned before my absolute favorite songs are:

-Obscure
-Saku

HAha! yeah thats right! I dont have much favorite songs of this band. If you ask me about Malice Mizer or Moi Dix Mois in those topics, I could like fill a page!
Still.. I just cant wait to see them! I will probably go crazy and jump straight in the pit(if there are any, which is highly possible since its wacken)

Thank you for the pics dakkii and *~envy~*.. They look majorly hot in the pics... But I gotta admit I miss their Visual Kei style, I know it was a while ago now but I still loved.

btw can anyone confirm or not the fact that die has snake pattern tatoo on the hand?
and does anyone know if kyo has new tatoos except for the one below his ear?
and one more question about tatoo (XD) what does kaoru's tatoo look like now co i saw pic of his forearm he got tatooed in paris (i think) but i know it goes way past the elbow now wt does it look like?
 
Die has a snake print tattoo on his right hand. The only new tattoo of kyo's I know of is the one on his neck that he got done during Family Values last August. Kaoru has a full sleeve on his left side, it goes all the way to his chest.

Are you sure? He finishes the countdown at the end of Akuro no Oka (which leads into Gauze -mode of eve-).

what is with the end of akuro no oka anyways?!? i always think they cut the songs wrong or something, because i know the last part is supposed to be gauze -mode of eve-, and the labeled track of -eve- is only like 3 seconds... but they couldn't have screwed up that badly, right? grrrrr... it bothers me every time, because that little "brrring" that is gauze-mode of eve- comes up on shuffle and every single time i just stop and think "what IS THAT?!?"

...geez, i didn't know i had so much pent up anger on this subject... *is slightly scared of self*
 
I'm pretty sure the end of Akuro no Oka is Gauze -Mode of Eve- and the final track is just the last four seconds. If you notice, the time on your CD player will starting counting down instead of up when it gets to that part in Akuro. For some reason they chose to do it that way. It can't be a mistake, otherwise they would have fixed it for later pressings.

Ive been listening to the song "Undecided" alot lately and omg I love the acoustic guitar in it! The solo part is amazing, its soo beautiful <3

and undecided was my favorite for a while... i've been kind of ADD lately, so i haven't listened to it as much... i absolutely adore the things die writes (like i don't adore the songs everyone else writes too XD)... if they ever broke up *god forbid* i would love to hear him solo... though i still perfer Dir en grey... but it would be interesting

undecided has always been, in my mind, one of their best acoustic works.
 
the opening to 24ko cylinders is AMAZING! ...that song's been one of my love-time favorites (did i put it on my list? O_O i'm crazy if i didn't...)

@daki- true... it's because die wrote it <3 he has an ear for acoustic amazingness. Namamekashiki is up there for me too...
 
My favourite part of 24ko cylinders is in the middle: the guitars and vocals are in the center, the bass is on the left, and the drums are on the right. It's a really weird use of stereo separation, but I love it.

oh i love the intro and kyo's voice while he says ~give me......... and the bass too,the song is full of drama and truly amazing,i also love listening to the bonus tracks from tmoab esp conceived sorrow
 
woot 24ko! Love every minute of it. When i'm bored I always watch their performance of it from 5 Ugly Kingdom lol.

Sometimes I think Kisou is my favorite Diru albums cuz of songs like 24ko, Undecided, Mushi, embryo, bottom of death valley. But then other times I
think Vulgar is my favorite because of audience killer loop, obscure, drain away, child prey, kasumi...etc..

It's so hard to choose an absolute favorite when it comes to Diru...
