I only saw the Deftones live once, and that was at Family Values. Now, granted, I think that outdoor venues don't carry sound as well as indoor ones, but Deftones just sounded like one big messy wall of noise. .
uhm.. thats what DeG sounds like live too..
Um what show did you see them at? I caught them on both the FVT and when they came thru in February and had no problm with the sound quality what so ever.
uhm.. it was a joke.. most bands sound like a wall of noise live.

what do you guys think of the new album?
or did you already discuss this? (im too lazy to look back trough al the pages ^_^i have it digital so if anyone needs ****** you know the story ....
...I like new album!
Conceived Sorrow,Disabled Complexes,Namamekashiki Ansoku are my fave (sometimes I just like to hear slow Diru song where I can enjoy a real beauty of Kyo's voice) and I also like those three bonus versions!I like the whole album!I think it's not their best but it's one of the best (even though all Diru albums were great to me)!>_<
I was a little surprised that ASOM was chosen as a single considering they had gems like Fatal Believer, Conceived Sorrow and Grief that would have made better releases I think.
I liked the original better, but i do really like the re-recording of ryoujoku no ame the lyrics are more pronounced and sound more clear.

In addition to our previous news item about Dir en grey being the 'special guests' of a concert of the Deftones, on June 6th, it turns out that they will support the band during the rest of the tour as well.
They will join them from June 6th until June 28th. Next to Dir en grey, the American band The Fall of Troy will also join the Deftones.
For the tourdates and about how to order tickets, check out the official website of the Deftones.
....Does anybody like the remake of Clever sleazoid? I liked the original better, but i do really like the re-recording of ryoujoku no ame the lyrics are more pronounced and sound more clear.
I'd also say that I like the single version of Clever Sleazoid more. When I first heard the album version, I felt that it sounded as if it was being pulled through mud
Me too; after I heard it for about the 4th or 5th time the other day, I didn't mind it as much as when I first heard it. XD For sure, though, I still like the single version more.I felt the same way. now I don't mind it as much, but yeah given the choice between the two the single is still my top pick.
