Dir en grey

Besides, Kyo is more than animated enough; he encouraged a clap along for crying out loud! When has he ever done that?
Ah one of the highlights of the night lol. That was kinda unexpected for me actually and I was glad he did that ^^

Iih, my first message
Well, i love dir en grey. I listen theyre music all the time
I'm gonna see them in summer, when they come here, finland. I've never been this happy
By the way, i'm not good at english... Dont judge me, i'm only 12.

Sorry I haven't been on. My computer crashed

@ Daki - Yes, the pushing was so annoying!
@ pinkbuta304 - Tee hee, yes I touched Toshiya It was awesome.
@ Yumikkahawa - I'm by Minneapolis ^^
@ gravenimage - Lucky. I wish I could have missed them, so sucky!!
@ Placebo - Dir en Grey and MUCC together would be amazing

Happy late birthday to Kaoru and Kyo!

Ahh! now all that I can think about is Dir en Grey and MUCC... TOGETHER!!! AWESOMNESS!!!

I hope Kyo and Kaoru had a good birthday... ^^

I'm Back!!!

I saw Kyo on his b-day and he seemed a bit pissed off(?). The crowd at the Denver show was moshing and some annoying little fan girls wouldn't shut up. I think I actually heard him tell the people to shut up at one point? After the encore he just kind of stormed off the stage. Is that his normal exit?
Regardless, it was the best show I've ever been to in my life. I was right about the energy they produced. I spent the whole time hanging off the balcony and just watching. No screaming or jumping or head banging... I didn't want to miss a moment. The first 2 bands sucked, but Diru made it worth sitting through the emo crap. And all of the hell I went through to get there...
I didn't want it to end.
I heard a rumor that they are tentatively thinking about doing Family Values again... anyone know anything?

*edit* Plus, I got gum on my friggen skirt! Still worth it...

I know, the screaming fan girls piss me off. I mean yeah, they're good looking. They probably know this. Leave them alone XD He stormed off at the concert I went to as well. I was headbanging to a few songs though. I was so sad when it was over, I was standing there like nooooooo.... I wish they would do meet and greets. I have so much I could say. I don't like the whole drawing thing. I never win them. EVER.

Aaaa... I wish I could give them a present or something! But they have so much money I wouldn't know what to get XD
I wouldnt know what to get them either... I mean... what do you get them... when they have so much money... @___@ so confusing...
That is so great that you went to go see Kyo-sama on his birthday... I dont know if that is his normal exit... but you never know with Kyo-sama yeah? Diru is awesome... they are worth anything... ^________^
I heard a rumor that they are tentatively thinking about doing Family Values again... anyone know anything?
I havent heard of that... them doing Family Values again... that is news to me... I should pay more attention...
Yeah... screaming fangirls piss me off too... he probably left because of that you know...

From the way he behaves, Kyo knows he's beautiful. Besides, these men are on the stage, pouring their hearts out performing for the crowd. The least we can do is have respect enough to shut up and listen. Right?
I don't think I'd want to do a meet & greet. If I meet them, I want to be more than some faceless fan they say thanks to and forget 2 seconds later. If I can't pick Kyo's brain, I'd rather just keep to my fantasies (don't get excited, most of them involve simply speaking with him).

Exactly. If I were up there and just showing how I feel so strongly like that and all that the fans did was scream instead of listen, I'd be really upset as well. Jeez. I want them to do a meet and greet, but I'd want to know ahead of time so I could plan out exactly what I wanted to say. Hopefully it would mean something. I wouldn't just be like 'OMG you're so kawaii' Those people should be smacked

Haha I had an annoying screaming fangirl in back of me. I was so irritated when she started screaming during Kyo's solos. She didn't have common sense enough to see that the whole room was quiet but her.

But Kyo...I don't know if he usually storms off... for my show he just took the bucket off his head and got off stage....Seems they all enjoyed the show = T

As much as I want to see Diru live again, I almost don't want them to do another tour with Family Values. The general crowd that attends that show is full of close-minded goons that shout insults at the band just because they're from another country. I know it would be in Diru's best interest to tour in America as much as they can, but it would be nice if they just did another headlining tour instead. I prefer when they play a full set, and I also prefer the small clubs because you can actually enjoy the lighting and it's a lot more intimate.

If they do join Family Values again, I'll definitely go just to see Diru, it's just really difficult to ignore the idiots in the audience.

I heard that Korn wanted them to do the FVT again... but as Riyko said... If they are going to do that European tour in august... I dont see how they will do the FVT...

I mean Kyo-sama probably doesnt storm off like that in the shows... but I think in those particular shows he did because of the lack of respect people had when they were screaming when he was singing...

I mean, if I was him.. .I guess I would have dome the same thing...

Kyo doesn't really stick around when a show is over anyway, does he? He doesn't hang around with the rest of the band while they throw stuff out into the audience. At the NYC show he stood there for a bit with the bucket on his head, removed it, then walked off.

I don't know if Kyo would be upset about American crowds moshing... I keep reading reports that Japanese fans are just as vicious, if not more so. On one side of the world you've got people getting into small group fights, on the other side you've got people trampling each other to be in front. There isn't much of a difference there.

I doubt he'd be upset over people enjoying him "bleeding." He does it at every show -- it's a part of the performance. And, well... I've already said here before that most of the blood isn't real, but I won't get into that again.

Anyway, maybe I just got lucky and the NYC show just went amazingly well. The band was already pretty much warmed up to us as soon as they played the first song, and they were clearly enjoying themselves up there.

All I can say is that the band was totally into their performance, except for Die, he was just there, lol.

^ Aw it seems that Die is always the one that is just there lol. At the NYC show it took him half the show before he started really getting in to it.

Die seemed to be having fun in Denver...
I'd be interested in seeing an article about the rock throwing too.
Violence is never the best answer but sometimes it's the most fun... but it should never be the first resort!

Apparently people were throwing rocks at them at Family Values... we were just interested in getting more info on it. Someone threw a water bottle and hit the drums in Denver. Just missed Kyo's head. Those people irk me.

@Reita-kun - I would get so mad if Kaoru or his guitar got hit. If anyone hit ANY of them I would have a fit XD

@Bloodlust - What a bunch of *word I am not allowed to say on here* Why would you throw a rock at them? That's digusting. Eww smelly cab drivers!?

The place I went to in Minneapolis was in the "hood" so I know what you guys in LA are going through!!

@pinkbuta304 - Bring a cute umbrella!

Yoko_Kisaragi - I think there were a bunch of bigots there or something. From what I've heard, the people there didn't know who they were and decided to throw rocks at the Japanese guys. I think it was only in one city, though. It still really makes me mad.

Yup, or smelly cabs... Humans are gross. I get peed on by animals all the time (at work, not some twisted hobby) and they never disgust me as much as a public washroom!

You know where I'd love to see DEG go? Ozzfest. I think they'd be better received there, and (on a purely selfish level) the other bands playing might actually interest me! If I ever hit FVT, it would be solely to support DEG. Do they even do Ozzfest anymore?

Gosh, racist people suck!!!! :auch: My parents won't allow me to go to Ozzfest, so I'd hope they wouldn't do that. I would only go to FVT for Diru too, then probably leave

@ Yoko_Kisaragi: I cant go to Ozzfest either... TT_____TT I think I could only go to FVT... *wants to see Kyo-sama*

I'm a parent and I'd rather have my daughter go to Ozzfest than FVT!!! Yeah, I think that would be a great idea! DEG would friggen' rock Ozzfest! Plus, we metal heads are more polite, I'm sure

Hi everyone, new to the forum. :3 I've been a Diru fan for something like a year and a half.

I just recently started to really like their "new" stuff (Withering to Death and up) a lot more than I used to, and on top of that I got to see them in Minneapolis on the 14th so I guess my love for them has been rekindled lately. XD

Just thought I'd introduce myself since I'll probably be popping in from time to time. X3
