omg i just got back from the concert O__O
it was so beautiful especially when kyo walked on stage i screamed so hard and i jumped the highest since my friend pushed me up
kyo looked at me and crossed his eyes XDD
then he started crying and it made me cry ;-;
they were all so beautiful TOSHIYA was smiling the whoel time!! rytyudjgh
 
yea the pain im in now is totally worth it XDD
my arms hurt so bad i can't carry a cup

when i saw kyo's face my heart stopped i couldnt believe he was standing in front of me O__O...

OMG i couldnt breathe O__O i was so nervous and i just forced myself to keep going no matter what >__< well i waited in line for about 2 hours and i made lots of friends ;D the venue was so small i was expecting it to be bigger!!

everyone was crowded up in line
i think there was about 2000 people there
i wish i could have caught something T^T
 
as a first impression of the album (i'm not gonna d/l the leak but wait for my copy), this song didn't impress me much.....sigh.. ☝

Dir's next single/pv is gonna be GRIEF??? Funny enough, I didn't think anyone else would like that song much ... but after a few listens it's my fav song on the album, lol. That high-pitch girlie scream is awesome...

The PV is alright, I like how you see the members more and I like that song even though it was the first time I heard it, it's still a good song.

^ The PV.....I thought was alright. Wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad. Once again i'm stuck trying to figure out the whole story behind the flashes of images of blood and cuts and....white stuff coming out of the girl's mouth that can be many things........

I just listened to 'The marrow of a bone', and I have to say: I'm really disappointed. It starts nice and mellow with 'Conceived Sorrow', but after that it's just the same repetitive garbage. Uninspired songs like 'Grief' and 'Lie Buried With A Vengeance' (I'm not even going to start with 'Clever Sleazoid', I haven't been able to take this song seriously since I've seen this video) are as bad and unoriginal as their titles might suggest. Don't get me wrong, I love this band. But I don't like 60 minutes of non-stop screaming accompanied by extremely rancid videoclips which show a worm having sexual intercouse with itself.

Conceived Sorrow isn't the only mellow song on there. Namamekashiki... is obviously another one, but The Pledge is also beautiful in a less than conventional way.

Did you only listen to it once? Try it again; all the screaming can be overwhelming at first, but the album is a lot more diverse than people think. The Soundgarden-like riffs in Rotting Root, the almost-funk feel of Disabled Complexes, the really-interesting-and-somewhat-strange guitar textures in Grief... this album has a nice variety. The problem is that Kyo's voice tends to overpower what's going on behind him, so you miss a lot of the subtleties in the music.

I don't know -- I love the album, and I think it's a step up from Withering to Death.
 
^Yea I definitely had to listen to it a few times before I got a feel for the music. Kyo's vocals were great but really overpowering at times. I'm getting used to it now. It's not exactly my favorite album but I still think its a good album.
 
@ daki: You lucky duck!

I like their new album, though I must say I tend to lean towards their old 'Yurameki' days, back when Die's hair was really red But their music just seemed more... I'm not sure what the word is I'm looking for. I guess they had more spunk, and they seemed like they were enjoying what they were doing more than they do now.

Yeah, I miss the happiness!! And spunk!! It's not that I don't like their music, but I kinda miss the old days

I know, i'm a s ucker for extreme looks, fanservice and copious amounts of fake blood and violence.
And most neo-VK bands are a joke, they don't have that same "something" that bands like Diru had (and still have to a lesser extent).
Maybe they're just tired, they are getting old.
I mean 30 is, like, ancient.
Seriously though, all they need is an early night and a nice mug of Horlicks and i'm sure they'll be fine!

Don't get me wrong, I like songs off of each album. It's just that I'd rather listen to "Grief" or the new version of "Clever Sleazoid" than anything off of Gauze.
 

Oh well. As long as they're happy I guess. They could have at least kept up the really sweet outfits!! LOL
