Dir en grey

when i was first introduced to DeG i was attracted to their music. to tell you the truth, i didnt like their looks...(i wasnt used to looking at guys who look like girls)^^;;; but i got used to that and now i think they are very beautiful ^_________^ i think they is why people dont really accept vk T_T

I meant that some of their songs sound "happy". ( ) I don't know how to say it but I'm sure you know what I mean....

Songs like Audrey or Umbrella or Yokan are really good "to bring good mood"....

But I know that the lyrics of Kyo can be very different from what the song sounds....
 
ooo yes. yokan is very unbringing.umbrella sounded like fun sing along(but then the lyrics *sweatdrop*) Children and Jessica sounds upbeat as well. i thought 304goshitsu hakushi no sakura was happy until i read the lyrics...and cried T_T

then again, Kyo lies like hell in interviews, so he might be joking... lol there's no way in hell that berry is a love song, ne?

vulgar is a good cd, but i think you(isayhello) should get Six ugly lol i just love the songs on it ^^ but then again all their cds are good
 
Diru's music tends to be more dark but its not EXTREMELY dark. Sad and twisted at times yes but not really dark (I am twisted in the brain so yeh....-_-;;;; )

Im not Gothic despite what people like to believe... I dont really think of myself as punk either...I am a VK fan so I guess you could call me very visual, which I am XDDD, but I dont really fit into and catagories like that....

haha Well Obscure, You have it better then me. The only people in my school who like VK are the ones I have introduced to it, my sister and my friend Ryan....wait no Suzanna too...so really that leaves only 2 fans before I came and both are more Gackt fans and the such.
 
tell me this: would you guys give EVERYTHING you´ve got to meet diru? How important is diru to you? Are you really really REALLY devoted, or are you satisfied only listening to their CDs and downloading some pics...? (just testing....)

Anyway about dir en grey I would say that my dream at the moment is to see them live!!!! Listenning to their CD and watching their dvds is not enough....

I hope my dream will come true and that they will come in Europe very soon.......
 
lol yes my friends find me very twisted and disturbing for liking Diru's PVs and looks, but meh.

you both have it better than me, there's like 2 anime fans who only know wat vk is but dont listen and one of my friend only likes Diru cuz i got her into it...^^;;;

i wouldnt give EVERYTHING i've got. i mean i need it to live. one day i was thinking about going to their live and meeting them then i would kill my self but it just dont work...lol but i really wish to see them live! im saving up for it too! lol i would have to pay everything from ticket to travel fee to hotel to food so i still need a job, but im working hard towards it! :box: lol only if they could come to canada, or even the US! then i can drive or fly depending on distance and it would cost less than going t japan! but i want to go to japan so ya... i will stop talking now...
 
Kyo is NOT the leader!!! The leader is Kaoru, the most serious and mature in the band!!!

Kyo usually sleeps during interviews.... I can't imagine him being the leader.... No way....
 
ya Kaoru is THE leader-san.

and japan is AWSOME(havent been there either).
 
Are there many interwievs with diru? Or do they mostly keep silent and mysterious?
 
oh, oh, one more thing, could you guys please please tell me a little about each of the members of diru. I mean, they must all have different personalities and different ways of acting...? Tell me all you know! (Thanks)
 
The "clichés" of dir en grey"s member:

- Kyo: enjoys sleeping, lying, hurting himself.....

- Kaoru: enjoys working, being scary and working....

- Die: enjoys laughing like a mad man, having fun of Shinya, .... He has a really great smile!!!!!

Toshiya: enjoys being sexy, flirting, having fun and he can cry very easyly....

- Shinya: very shy at a first sight but have a wonderful smile as well. And he also has too big arms for his girly face I think....

Ok.... That was stupid, I don't know them but that's what is usually said on them.....

Thanks also Miz, that homepage is good, (I haven´t finished reading it yet...) Now I have checked up a lot about diru and seen a lot of pictures. Man, those guys are really beautiful, I mean, they are really really REALLY good-looking! I love the pictures taken on various concerts, instead of in a studio - the concert ones are more real, and they still look sooooooo good. Die HAS a great smile.

I would wanna see this video-clip with Kyo and Kaoru, but pm?? whadda? besides, my computer is messed up right now, we don´t even have media player, haha.

Are the members of diru always depressed - they seem a little "dark", not only their image, but also the members themselves, they seen a little melancholy. (sp?)
Shinya seems really depressed about life?
 
They are not always depressed, they have a lot of fun together!!!! Just watch them backstage.... Even Kyo can be "happy" sometimes... (I think of Miyaku making of when he is jumping up and down.... )

And Shinya is not that depressed, he can smile as well (especially when there are animals around....)

Diru is dark, but in life they are pretty happy, i mean they're always laughing and cracking jokes, ne? kyo too, i dont think he is a very depressed person... ^^ they are VERY good-looking

oh ya, PM=priviate messaging, and by the way the clip i have is a sound clip not a video clip im sorry ^^;;; but i do have diru live clips and PVs is if you want, just private message me ^___________^
 
I can't remember who it was, but someone from this site had emailed me Dir En Grey mp3's...I listened to a few of them and at first I wasn't interested in any of the songs except Machiavellism, but now I've gotten more curious and have started listening to more of their songs and I've been stuck on their song Cage for a few days now..I just repeatedly listen to it..I can't get enough of it..I know its a pretty old song of their's but its still really really good...^^
