Hi there.
I've been doing a lot of 'de' and 'ni' lately and one thing has come up where I'm somewhat confused. Well, I didn't think I was, but I spoke to someone and now I am.
So what's the problem? Well, if I want to say 'I live in England', that is 'Igirisu ni sunde imasu' with the particle 'ni' and the stative verb 'to live' in its stative form.
Now, if I wanted to say 'I live in London, in England', what I thought was 'Rondon ni, igirisu ni sunde imasu'. And if I wanted to add that I lived in London, in England, in Europe, I could add another 'ni' with Europe to that lot.
The girl I spoke to seemed convinced that only the final verb would take 'ni' to connect it to 'sunde imasu' and the others in the list would take 'de'. So 'Rondon de Igirisu de Europpu ni sunde imasu'.
After speaking with her I realised I wasn't actually 100% sure, so I come to you. Any help would be appreciated.
