Creating sentence about love

I somehow found out that "i love you" in japanese is

私はあなたを愛して。

but how do you say it using the the phrase "好き"?

私はあなたを愛して can't mean "I love you" by itself alone. This is an incomplete fragment, so the clause/suffix following it is needed.

私はあなたを愛している
I love you.

私はあなたを愛して、夜も眠れなくなりました。
Since I love you, I can't even sleep at night.
