But I sometimes, if not often, come across it in books or on TV.
I think you will also come across it someday.
I recommend to memorize this phrase.
By the way, if 願いはおけば isn't a misprint,
then I think it means "apart from my wish"
願いはおけば、かおる殿の戯れ言が真実になってもらいたいでござるな。
