Cosplaying is really big where I live. the whole thing fascinates me and horrifies me at the same time.

I think that cosplay looks like fun. But it is not at all a big thing here in the UK. I have never seen any cosplayers here (although maybe in London there are? :? ) I admire if they can make their own costumes, some of them are very good. I can make clothes if I try, but I am very slow. I have never made cosplay, though.

I have never heard of cosplay before. I suppose the nearest thing we have here is battle reenactments, when people dress in say medieval costume and pretend to fight.

Some cosplay is impressive... Others, not so much.

One of my brothers friends (male, quite large) 'cosplayed' as a 'Japanese school girl' (in sailor suit uniform) once. Although it was done as a joke, really, that's something I never wanted to see..
