China's Jumbo jet C919 is going to receive European and US flight certificate

I heard on BBC news that China's home-built commercial airplane, C919, participated in a European exhibition to undergo comprehensive testing and obtain international flight certification. Some experts believe that this marks the beginning of China's competition with the two global giants, Boeing and Airbus.

Wonderful progress has been made in technology, industry, and economy in China over the course of a few decades.

The C919 is a narrow body (one aisle) not a wide body (two aisles). The C929 is a wide body. It will be some time before China gets a wide body airliner into the air.
