I am fortunate to own some original hand forged blades. My 1st purchase many years ago is probably my favourite. Its shape and heft make it feel like a true warriors weapon.
It was fitted out in WW2 for an army officer it seems going by the handle mounts but it's still got its civilian scabbard

The only inscription on the tang is 2 characters, man & roku.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why this inscription?
