Hello,
I have a couple of swords and was wondering if its possible to have someone look into translating the inscriptions on the tangs.
Kind regards
Paul

The top one says 松田次郎 (Matsuda Jirō), which is a name, but I don't think there is any swordsmith by that name.
I can't read your other picture. Possible to get a better resolution on it and post again?

The other side looks like someone tried to chisel characters onto the sword. The final character (作) means "made by", but the ones above that look pretty bad.
Looks too suspicious to be a real Japanese sword. More likely it is a fake sword, possibly made in China, as many fakes are.

Not a Japanese sword. Probably made in China. the first two characters are
上海 (Shanghai)
Can't read the next 3 characters, but its probably the name of the person who made the sword. The last character is 作 (made by).
