Hello all,
I wanted to ask... is there anyone here on the board using one the latest Canon world tanks? I used to have one long ago. I see that some of the later models you can input Romaji. I think that this might make it easier to use.
Thanks all!

I just bought a Canon M300 off Ebay recently. A little older model from several years ago, but it's new and the price was good. Think the online store was getting rid of them. You can input via Romaji which is what I do. Definitely makes things quicker and easier. I also think with the Canon Japanese/English dictionaries you can select for English or Japanese menus. I know the M300 allows that as well as an older IDX-9500 I have.

I think some of the recent models allow you to enter kanji by drawing with a stylus on the screen. This would be a useful feature.

Hey there,
sorry for the late reply.. I finally bought the canon word tank Z410... I'll be leaving for japan in a few days.. I cant wait.

Great. You'll have a fantastic time in Japan I'm sure.

I see the Z410 has stylus input. That's a very nice feature. Good decision in spending a little extra money to get that. It should come in very handy in Japan.
