So I splurged and bought an iPad Pro w/Apple pencil a couple of weeks ago, and picked up a couple of drawing apps for fun. One is called Paper (free), and the other is called Procreate (about $6).

Anyway, after doodling on it for awhile I decided to try the "oriental brush".
It was a surprisingly close experience to what actual kanji writing was like when I tried it a few years ago, so I had my girlfriend (Japanese) give it a shot.

I'll admit it took her a couple of minutes to get used to it, but in the end she was sold!

Anyway, I thought you guys might be interested in that sort of thing, so I posted.

Let me know if you have any questions about kanji / calligraphy on iPads (I've tried it on a few)!

(Also I want to add that I am in no way affiliated with Apple, Paper, or Procreate! These are just apps I tried randomly after Googling - if you have some that worked well for you, please feel free to discuss them here!)
