The film's story centers on Hanada, a.k.a. "No. 3 Killer," the third-best hit man in Japanese organized crime. Near the top of his game, his fortunes change when he encounters Misako, a mysterious, death-obsessed woman who brings him a particularly difficult mission. In a famous moment indicative of the film's eccentric sensibility, a butterfly lands on his gun's sight at the exact moment he pulls the trigger, causing him to miss the shot. This failure means that the killer becomes the target, and must run for his life from his former employers, and the mysterious "No. 1 Killer."

Miyuki Minazuki, known as "Stray Cat" the number three assassin in Japan's professional killer guild. As in its predecessor, number three is contacted by the guild and ordered to kill number one. Knowing that if she succeeds she will become number one, Miyuki embarks on a difficult and dangerous mission to kill the elusive number one.

Someone told me that this is a sequel to Branded to Kill... is it?

I saw PISTOL OPERA, better than a B-Movie, but not by much. I can't remember why, it was 2 months ago. Thats what I remember.

I would have been upset, if I had paid 10-12 dollars on this.
