Berserk ending ???

I just finished watching Berserk recently and I quite liked it, until the ending that is... I don't get how it just ended that way... do they continue the story in the manga ?? Anyobody can elaborate ?

In the manga it's the first of the 4 or 5 projected story arcs. When I caught up with the manga, which wasn't finished when I read it, I think it was at the 4th story arc and the writer spoke of wrapping the final ending up. The anime covered about 40% or so of the manga.

Haven't stayed up to date since that point about a year and a half ago though.

you wouldn't happen to know what manga chapter coincides with the ending of the anime ?
