Beheaded Japanese hostage found

sad stuff :(

pretty f***ed world we live in these days

3 more hostages were taken in afghanistan, and just today this dutch film maker was killed by a 26 yr old marroccan probaply due to his criticism of islam

i wonder where this all leading too? perhaps a direct conflict of West and East ?

I don't think it'll be as black and white as west vs east. but yeah, A conflict does look impending.

mostly i meant Western world ( north america and europe ) vs islam and arabs in the middle east

there some ppl that say that once the price for an oil barrel hits $100, the whole west will go to war .

But donna, mankind is prolly just as stupid to do that

Pretty low probability, I think. There are too many different Arab (or Islamic) national interests involved for Islam to form a united front against the West. Mind you, Turkey is even teaming up with Israel when it seems necessary.

I see a certain danger in a new war Israel vs. Arabs, but I doubt that even then there would develop an all-out war West vs. Islam.

I feel awfull for that japanese social worker.

Most likely we will go to war with the west but something is different.....

If united like I say so many times we will wipe them out. no offense...

Sorry, but this is pretty delusional. Even if united, the whole Muslim world doesn't have the firepower to wipe out the West. They wouldn't even stand much of a chance against the US alone.

heh, that's the kind of thinking that had the Iraqies standing up against the invading US forces to begin with.

If I were the leader of that country and the US invaded.. well I'd just throw in the towel the second the first tanks rolled in over the border... what's the use throwing away all those lives in such a futal attempt?

Why did they behead him on an american flag? I wonder what sort of statement they were thinking that would be?... "Don't side with america"?

That is a good question, but if the answer you provided is accurate, why kidnap someone who has no affiliation with the war? Answer? They are killers. That is all that they are interested in. If not, why wouldn't they quit all the needless killing and take up discussions without loss of life?

And if the Iraqi people end up nostalgic for a return to dictatorship and leaders like Saddam that were responsible for countless innocent torturing not to mention nearly 2 millions of their deaths, at least now they're on the road to being able to speak up for it freely.

lots of hate too much emotions, I better watch my back...

Getting back to topic, there will be a way that you have never imagined we could wipe the threat of the earth. I dont even know it but its there...

All it takes is time and proper action

No matter what in this country called the United States, I will get no sympathy or respect from neither people. But I dont need anyone because nobody cares for us. I'll start with my people and then we will show the world the true meaning of justice.

You are deluded, irrationally hostile, infantile, and seem to believe that life is as black and white as an episode of Gi Joe. I recommend pulling the power cord of your computer out of the wall as soon as possible.

Did anyone see the actual beheading video? I saw it and it was pretty sick. I found it at some weird site (I'm sure many of you guys know which site I'm talking about).

Of course it does...
Society itself feels as though it is "understimulated" and will, thus compensate for that lack.
An analogy of what I mean would be that form of ADHD that some people have where they're constantly causing conflicts in their lives (albeit, unconsciously) to satisfy the understimulation within their brains.

(My ex-gf had that condition. I'm sure of it.) 😊

NHK news says
Iraqi Suspect Arrested in 2004 Killing of Japanese

The Iraqi Interior Ministry says an Iraqi man has confessed to murdering Shosei Koda, a 24-year-old Japanese man taken hostage in Iraq and killed by an insurgent group in 2004.

Ministry officials have identified the suspect as Hussein Fahami, a resident of Baghdad. He is said to have told police that he and two others killed Mr Koda and left his body in Baghdad.

the suspect
"We demanded that Japan withdraw its troops, but it did not. So we killed the hostage."

The suspect reportedly belonged to a group with links to Al Qaeda.

In video footage obtained by NHK, the suspect says Mr Koda was transferred to his group from another. They held him in a house near a Sunni mosque.

Iraqi Interior Ministry official
"The suspect's statement matches up with what is shown in the web footage."

The Al Qaeda Organization of Holy War in Iraq said in a video posted on the Internet that it would kill Mr Koda unless Japan withdrew its Self-Defense Force units from Iraq. Four days later, Mr Koda's body was found in Baghdad.

the suspect
"We demanded that Japan withdraw its troops, but it did not. So we killed the hostage."
So now that they have a suspect in the murder what will the Iraqi courts do with him? Will they put him in jail, find a lawyer and put up a defense like " I killed this guy because I didn't know any better and society is to blame for me not knowing what is right or wrong"?

Then if found guilty by a jury of his peers (yeah right, like they are going to bring in a bunch of Al Qaeda sympatheizers) put him in jail for 25 years until the appeals process is completed and then finally try to put him to death by means of lethal injection, which will have been found to be cruel and inhuman punishment, plus not being able to find a doctor to assist with the anesthetics neccesary to complete the procedure, let the guy go free to go out and murder some other poor innocent victim.

Or will he appeal to the United Nations for clemency claiming that he is a hostage and was a "freedom fighter" working to cleanse his country of the menance caused by the invasion of the US?

What kind of democracy will the US export to Iraq I don't know, but I cerainly hope that it's courts system is not a part of it as well.

btw side question here, maybe someone has already asked and answered this but......."Who is the poster Master X" and how can a person post here with out having a profile?
