Assassin of Ito Hirobumi honoured

Ito was no more of a scumbag than other leaders of his era and even less of a scumbag than other of his Japanese contemporaries.

Yeah. And its too bad they could not ALL be assassinated. Ito may not have been the first on my list, but he was high enough. A scumbag is still a scumbag, even if all his contemporaries are bigger scumbags.

It's far-fetched to compare him to Hitler.

It was not a comparison. I provide Hitler as an even starker example to understand what I am saying. When you steal a people's self-determination, you deserve to die. If you go along with it as a leader, you deserve to die.

I would rather such people just be jailed, but given the position of an overlorded people, its not a possible choice for them.

Al historical aspects aside, the point I actually wanted to make is that such acts only cause further unnecessary escalation in a region currently dominated by brainless nationalism. The event in this thread has just been topped by an even more incredulously stupid act, namely the imposition of China's ADIZ. Wrong step, wrong time, really sad.

Not you, but this SITUATION burns my A$$!!!! Japan extented its ADIZ into Taiwan's ADIZ in 2010 but NOBODY remembers that or if they do, they don't bring it up. China has not extended its ADIZ. It is making one for the first time, Just as Japan did in 1969 without asking permission from anybody. Just #uck ! #uck these double standards!

I wasn't aware of that fact, thanks for bringing it up. My fault, I guess we should open another thread on the ADIZ issue.

Than would be interesting. I am sick of this march to war that careens down a road paved with ignorance, double standards, unwarranted hate for one side and just as unwarranted love for the other ie nationalism and good ole boys $#!T. People are going to wind up dying for it and will not be the right people, as is the rule.

The assasination of Ito was just an exception to that rule.

Jut my opinion about that

China announced ADIZ. in same day U.S changed to NSC of Susan Rice.
It should notice it of the best timing.
The position of the assistant official specializing in NSC is the serious duty to advise the President on the indicator of a national security.
the Chinese air defense identification zone setup was not performed suddenly.
It has been prepared and carried out from immediately after Obama and Xi inping summit meeting (June 2013).

Xi inping carried out to President Obama at the summit meeting is that the United States can touch neither Tibet which China holds, nor a Uighur problem.
China carries out U.S. Treasury bond purchase as the condition.
China cooperates with the United States for the security issue of Asia.

It was suggested that China would have responsibility safely with the order in the world by the U.S. and China using a word called "new big nation relation" (G2).

though Obama avoided an answer..
Probably, as a fact they examined the national interest by G2.

Rice, NSC said " In the responsibility of both Japan and China, it should solve the Senkaku Islands problem on 21st Nov..
Furthermore, she said "the U.S. and China examine G2" by President Obama's visit to China scheduled for June, next year.
The United States applies Japan-U.S. security to the Chinese military threat involving the Senkaku Islands.
And it was planned to cope with China.
however, If it becomes responsibility for two countries, the United States will
withdrew..
Chinese economic assistance (U.S. Treasury bond purchase) is a longed-for thing to the weak point of a U.S. financial crisis.
It is effective in driving away Japan simultaneously for a U.S. Treasury bond to buy..

Furthermore, if the United States backs out from the Senkaku Islands problem, Japan would need the air defense organization of the wider range of the East China Sea, that is , Japan must buy AWA-CS4 more..
China will become easy to give much more military threat to Japan from now on.
Japan will purchase much more arms from the United States.
U.S. national interest increases by a Chinese military threat.
The Japanese government announced that the air defense identification zone of China does not need to be disregarded to an airline, and it does not need to submit a flight schedule to China.
Waiting for the announcement, the United States decided to submit a flight schedule to China.
American airlines become safe compared with a Japanese airline, and become advantageous.
The United States flew to the air defense identification zone of China with the B-52 bomber, and looked at the Chinese reaction.
The China air force did not perform scramble and the Chinese government did not do the protest for the U.S., either.

it is said It is national disgrace-like in China to admit invasion of a U.S. warplane.
However, the adiaphorous act to a Chinese B-52 advance is very important meaning.
The United States made the Senkaku Islands problem the responsibility of both exclusively-defensive-defense country Japan and China.
it is equal the United States hopes that China raises anti-Japanese tensions further.
Admission of a U.S. Forces plane is Chinese declaration of intention which takes over the request of U.S. silence.

as for a double face, It is a form where the United States did use of force for the strong protest of Japan among an opposite instead of Japan in front
Say that the United States and China pursue common profits in the back.

China which constructed U.S. mind from now on will raise an anti-Japanese military threat.
On the other hand, G2 which China desires is also the check to Russia which is a vendor of Chinese arms
The military-industrial complex which is a U.S. key industry is aiming at the Chinese market with a vigilant eye.
It is in the situation where China also cannot but ask the United States for the technology of a sophisticated fighter plane.

Although it will not be believed that the United States supplies arms to a hypothetical enemy etc. ....
The United States supplied funds and arms to enemy country Germany in the First World War.

There is no person who can oppose a "merchant of death."

The probability that the degree of tension will increase by the scramble battle in the outskirts of the Senkaku Islands of a Self-Defense-Forces and the China air force, and the Self-Defense Forces and the China air force will fight increases.

As the result, it may become a shortcut of a right-of-collective-self-defense constitutional interpretation and the Article 9 revision for Japan.

China is following the classic divide and conquer method with that memorial site. And it's a very clever move at just the right time. It could have been done at so many points of the past, but was not.

The problem with Japan and the ROK is that of the economic pie and getting the most they can of a bite out of that pie. It is that the economic battle is spilling over in the the battle of who-did-what and how-do-we-portray that who-did-what?

And I have an unusual seat at the view of the past four decades, because I lived for a number of years in the ROK starting about four decades ago. The Korean way of talking about the Japanese back then was very much like we read about now, but that didn't spill out onto the economic battlefield then because there wasn't yet an economic battle going on between the two countries.

Now there is and the situation isn't very pleasant.

And the Chinese? Well, they will be like they have always been and none of this should surprise anyone that has studied the history of this part of the planet.
