When the two desires have nothing to do with each other, し is used.
e.g.
日本にも旅行したいし、家族にも会いたいです。

You can't use 日本に旅行して家族に会いたいです unless your family members are in Japan. 旅行して is interpreted as "go trip to Japan, and then in there want to meet ,,," in this case. The -te form is hardly used to connect two clauses when they have no relation.

I'm uncertain whether I'm correctly using に here.

If you don't need to emphasize the temporary length, particles are not needed.
e.g.
１時間待ちました。
３週間どこにも行きませんでした。

Incidentally, ３ヶ月も日本語を勉強しませんでした is anbiguous. It can mean both "I had studied Japanese, but stopped it for three months" and "I studied Japanese less than three months". My two cents.

I'm working on the second draft for my city presentation script in Japanese. My teacher underlined the expressions I've used that are supposedly wrong, I've managed to correct most of them except for the following four, which I can't seem to figure out. Anyone willing to help?

"It is possible that the population is even lesser than this." (context: the population is 2,000,000)
これより少ない人口は可能性が高いです。[expressin/grammar mistake]

"Uzupis is a city within a city."
『Uzupis』は町の中な町です。[expression/grammar mistake]

"This festival also takes place in the old town."
その祭りも旧市街で起こります。[verb mistake]

"I continued to go to that place with classmates every October."
クラスメイトと毎年１０月にその所に行く続けました。[expression/form mistake]

The position of the topic 人口は is the key.
(可能性 is a noun, and これより少ない modifies it.)

Alright, though she highlighted not just the な but the entire 町の中な町です, I guess indicating there should be a more correct way in expressing that thought?

That's your work. You are practicing to make a Japanese sentence. You did it first, then we can fix it.

Just to change the の part can make the sentence correct.

Japanese is a language closely intertwined to the culture in which it is primarily spoken, and that culture puts heavy emphasis on respecting people above you, especially teachers. No matter how good your Japanese is, it will get you nowhere if you don't learn some basic manners. In fact your response isn't really acceptable anywhere.

I may well ask short questions here.

日本が素晴らしく感ずる和風曲集
I assume this means "a collection of Japanese style music that gives a wonderful impression of Japan."

But I don't know.

日本が素晴らしく感ずる Does this mean on it's own, "someone/thing feels Japan wonderfully" but then when I use that in the whole sentence that would mean "a collection of Japanese style music that feels Japan wonderfully"

So I guess "a collection of Japanese style music that feels Japan wonderfully" = "a collection of Japanese style music that gives a wonderful impression/feel of Japan."

Can someone verify or correct this? Thanks.

The meaning is correct. The subject of 感ずる is the listeners (of the collection).
