Are these sentences right

Ok, before I start... I tried to post in my other forum of the same title...but the edit disappeared, it only said quote, so I had to make a new one...anyways are these right? :

Nan suki na iro desu ka. : What is your favorite color?

Watashi no suki na iro wa aoi soshite shiroi desu. : My favorite colors are blue and white.

Watashi wa e suwarimasu ni taiyou suki desu. : I like to sit in the sun.

Joo! : Joe!

Tomii soshite Vikkii eien na! : Tommy and Vicki forever!

Watashi wa henna kibun kanjou o anata ga desu. : I have/feel strange feeling for/of you. ( I think this one is wrong)

anyways... when you answer, please type in English. then when you're typing in Japanese if I have things wrong, type in hiragana/katakana and romaji. Please type romaji right next to it. I might type in hiragana/katakana/romaji/kanji. I can't read kanji so don't type in that! thank you!

PS if something is wrong, please explain why, and why the things you added, or took out are taken out/put in the sentence. thank you, again!

一番好きな色は何ですか？（いちばんすきないろはなんですか？/Ichiban suki na iro wa nan desu ka?）
or just 「好きな色は何ですか」 will work too.

"My favorite colors are blue and white":
一番好きな色は青と白です。（いちばんすきないろはあおとしろです。/Ichiban suki na iro wa ao to shiro desu.)
好きな色は青と白です。（すきないろはあおとしろです。/Suki na iro wa ao to shiro desu.)
青と白が好きです。（あおとしろがすきです/Ao to shiro ga suki desu. [This is closer to "I like blue and white".])

"I like to sit in the sun":
太陽の下で座るのが好きです。（たいようのしたですわるのがすきです。/Taiyou no shita de suwaru no ga suki desu.）

How about this instead ? A sunny place in sitting I like.

日なたに座るのが好きです。

"ichiban"(いちばん 一番） means literally "Number one" and combined with "suki" means favourite.

Another way of saying "What colour do you like?" would be irowa nani ga suki desuka (いろはなにがすきですか） - literally "As for colours, what do you like?" I usually think of the wa subject particle as "As for".

Translating into Japanese is often difficult because you can't do a word-for-word translation like you can do sometimes with European languages. You have to learn Japanese sentence structures and grammar - which is quite different from English. Like Elizabeth's quote:

A sunny place in sitting I like

Japanese, when word-for-word translated in English sounds a lot like Yoda.

Soshite (そして） is used as a sentence joiner in some situations - it is not a blanket translation of "and". When you're joining nouns in a list in japanese, you use to (と） as in doinkies example.

The other point is that colours in Japanese have a two forms. The colour blue is "ao"（あお） if you're talking about the colour in general - like your favourite colour, but if you're talking about a blue car, it's aoi kuruma (あおい くるま） because blue is being used as an adjective.

Not really sure what you want to say in your last sentence.

Please don't make me explain, though, cause I'm not absolutely sure to that degree...it just somehow sounds comfortable to my ears. Or, perhaps you could stick えいえんに in front...If you want "together forever" that would be えいえんにいっしょうに（います）。

「座っている」という方がよりぴったりくるかもしれませんね。
でも、座るでもおかしくはないと思いますよ。

「日なた」はいい訳ですね。私はすぐに思いつかなかった...

日なたに座って日に当たるのを楽しむことを、「ひなたぼっこ」といいます。
（日に焼けるためではなくて、寒いときに太陽の光で温まることを楽しむことです。）

「日なたで座るのが好きです」

But if I'm forced to differentiate... in this case, に has a similar meaning to "toward" and implying the location of 日なた is not specified. 「で」 sounds more like implying a specific location called 日なた.
But this feeling is very subtle.
