Any good games?

knuckles in china land is pretty amusing, and helps a bit with practice. Though its not an "online" game in the sense that there is a community.

there are a lot of good games.

just go to google and write RPG Japan Online and you get a whole list!

i was searching too for a online rpg samurai game 😌

I'd like to know aswell if there are games highly populated by japanese people, or certain World of Warcraft servers where japanese people tend to play. Can i assume that there is a high number of japanese people playing Final Fantasy XI? It would seem logical that a Square game is widespread in Japan.

how about concerto gate?
the sever is really good,
also, it is free of charge at all

When i installed my Warcraft games and went online, and when I installed WoW it prompts you for the server you'd like to connect to.The only thing about playing on a foreign server is that it may cause you to lag if your connection/processor/graphics card cant keep up

Well im on EU servers and there isn't a single japanese realm, are there japanese populated realms in the US system? I wouldn't mind switching (leaving my 70 rogue behind /cry). Or are the japanese realms completely separate?

I used to play WoW, when my internet didn't suck. When you buy a EU or US game, it's pre-configured to only look for EU or US servers. To access Japanese servers, you gotta find the address of their server list, then open realm.what in your WoW folder in Notepad and change it to that address.

I play Phantasy Star Online nowadays because it will almost literally run on ANY connection. That game's got a handful of Japanese players who still play it. I play games with them occasionally.

Well i know you can tinker with the realmlist, but than again, there is no such thing as Japanese WoW servers, simply because there is no such thing as a Japanese WoW market either, because with Final Fantasy around they don't even think about WoW, although i prefer WoW over FF XI, i have to use the latter, since there are LOTS of Japanese players playing there, its worth giving a try, as the EU, NA and JP servers are all together, and they have implemented a small application that auto translates the most basic terms and item names. So if you feel like come, give FF a try, it really isn't bad. And umm, well FF XI runs on pretty much any connection too, i mean i don't have a bit of lag even though most of the english speaking players i met are american, so the information comes across the atlantic lol :D

Well to be honest, if you want online games that might help you learn some more Japanese, that kinda only leaves you MMO's.

I play in Japanese MMO. Not sure how much it improves my language. My langiage is more improved after my blog is checked for mistakes by natives.

May i perhaps ask which MMO do you play?
Although not Japanese, but i actually did learn English through MMO's. Not from scratch, but than again, it helped a lot.

I played a lot of MMO like (most recently) Perfect World, Trickster on Japanese servers. Of course, I've learned some new kanji and words, but nothing really special. Playing on foreign server is good rather for you to check your language skills, not to learn. Of course, you learn something too.
