Another new guy.

I've been lurking on these forums for a while, but earlier today (or rather yesterday if you're in Japan) I made my first post on this forum. I'm not very good with introductions but I thought it was about time I'd give it a go anyway.

I'm an ordinary guy from the southern parts of Sweden and my life long interest in games has driven me to a broader interest in everything Japanese, anything from traditional art to the music and cuisine. I am also trying to learn the language, but I do not have any formal training so this far it has all been in the form of self-studies.

I have never been to Japan, but this is something I intend to change as soon as I have saved up enough money to make the trip. Sooner rather than later, I hope.

Welcome to Jref !! It is so great to have you with us, and I do hope to hear from you as time goes on. Please do check out the whole forum and then, when as you get more and more used to it, share and learn with all of us.

You can improve your Japanese little by little, and probably end up doing quite well with self-study even.

I hope you can come over to visit Japan when you get the time !! Hope to see you 'round !!
