I knew that 5G towers could spread the coronavirus ( ); however, it seems some airlines worry that 5G technology could have an impact on Boeing 777 flight equipment, too. There haven't been any reports on technical troubles so far.

Seems like they knew this was coming ages ago but no one took action to solve it?

Honestly, I kind of have a hard time believing this is as much of an issue as reported. The airlines have pulled this type of stunt before when they didn't want any electronic devices used and only let up once they had a service to sell you during your flight to make money off of it.

I also think that if this was legitimately an issue then the FCC really has screwed up as they are in charge of making sure that interference from different devices on different frequencies doesn't occur.
