actually,some Mandarin speaking people,especially those from Shanghai,would think that the Cantonese speakers 'are not Chinese'

The dialect in Shang-Hai is so weird, i can just about understand Mandarin, but totally lost when it comes to Shang-Hai~nese.

I understand Mandarin a bit..if the person is not speaking it fast or rapping it..
