ALL AHEAD SLOW!!!!! JREF or my PC?

Is it just my PC or has JREF slowed way down the past week or two? It seems the chat room has problems, slowing down and kicking people out? Maybe it is another case of the JREF server being overloaded, or maybe it's some new program I loaded on my PC.
I guess what I'm asking is ....do any of the other members feel JREF is a lot slower now then say a month or two ago? If no one else is having trouble, I'll start cleaning programs off my own PC to speed things up. it seems tonight like I am back on a phone line hook-up 10 years back, TOOOOO slow!

I may not be the person to answer this at all--since as some have learned lately, I am NO geek at this PC stuff--but I have not really noticed anything about it being slower, as far as I can tell. I have never been kicked off the CHAT while there, but I wonder if that has anything to do with not being on a phone line, but a private cable line?

I'm at home today, on the family PC (not my son's--it does work slow) and sometimes have to wait for just a couple of secs longer than on the Epson at school.

So, anyway, I can't really see any slowness compared to before, though this is just as I see (or maybe cannot see) speed changes. Just my two bits worth...I hope all goes well Frank !!

Yeh, in fact it is slower.I heard something about the server, shouldn't take long until it's fixed

I've noticed it too. I was worried that I had a virus or spyware or something infecting my PC! Glad it seems to be JREF and not something more malicious!

That can be as high as six days a week. I try to avoid Tsukiji, though. The road there is a nuthouse which appears to have NO traffic rules whatsoever. I feel like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs when I drive by there.

I'm cycling by a couple of times a week. Nuthouse... right. I'm used to dodging forklifts and pallet carriers. Last time I avoided a tired trucker from Aomori by millimetres.

Anyhow, consider your pint ordered.
