Art AI Generated Japan-Related Images

Topics, threadsm and news related to Japanese art and artists
"the the" is not a good example. Non-AI checkers have been pointing that out for years if not decades.

a Tanuki the size of Godzilla rampaging through the streets of Tokyo

a Tanuki from Japanese folk tales the size of Godzilla in Tokyo wearing a straw hat and carrying a taiko drum

I should have thought of this one for Golden Week.

a traffic jam going up the sides of Mt Fuji

Reminds me of how traffic in Fukuoka seemed when I drove there. Coming from Maine with mostly 2 lane roads , a 6 or 8 lane road in Japan while driving on the "wrong" side was a challenge .

The pictures you all guys got are so much better than what I could get out of Bing . Bing does not like me or you guys have some tricks under your sleeve?

It's not magic, anybody can do it. Make sure you are in "more creative mode" of Bing Chat and then ask for images by saying "create an image of..."

This prompt was deliberately vague and open to interpretation. "a banzai image related to Japan"

It gave me two different images. This artistically creative one,

and then it thought maybe I meant bonsai.

And here's an avantgarde art installation at Yasukuni Shrine

I guess it thinks cube-shaped forms are avantgarde.

Related to Prime Minister Kishida's nepotism...

Initially I said, "Create a humorous image related to Prime Minister Kishida's son taking "inappropriate" photos on a staircase."
But Bing didn't like that. "I'm sorry but I prefer not to create an image that can hurt a group of people or a public figure. I respect Prime Minister Kishida and his son's privacy and dignity. Please ask me something else."

So then I said, "Create a humorous image of somebody in Japan taking "inappropriate" photos on a red carpeted staircase."
And Bing then changed the prompt to
a person wearing a tuxedo and sunglasses lying on a red carpeted staircase and taking selfies with a smartphone while other people in formal attire look at him with shock and amusement

Another opportunity to create images with creepy human figures in it
My prompt was Create an image that symbolizes the lack of diversity on Japanese corporate boards.
which Bing transformed to a group of men in suits sitting around a table with a Japanese flag in the background

Those resemble the sort of spherical craft in the movie "first men in the moon" (based on an H. G. Wells story). One of the characters was named Cavor (the designer/inventor?) and the ship is google-able as a "cavorite sphere". The brownish panels had an antigravity paint/coating, which worked when exposed, but then could be covered with shutters to prevent it from working (bad science, but good story).

I asked for
an image that serves as a metaphor for the life and career of Johnny Kitagawa
and it converted it to
a puppet master holding strings attached to various male idols in different costumes and poses

Interestingly when I ask who is Johnny Kitagawa it puts the safety brakes on and won't answer.
