Dear native English speakers,
Would all the sentences be used with the same meaning?
(a) After I turned off the light, I left the room.
(b) After I had turned off the light, I left the room.
(c) After I turned off the light, I went out of the room.
(d) After I turned off the light, I had gone out of the room.

Thanks in advance.
Hirashin

I think meaning is same for all. (d) sounds awkward.

Thanks, mdchachi. I made a mistake.
I should have written as
(d') After I had turned off the light, I went out of the room.
How about this?

Then it's ok. (A) and (C) sound most natural but (B) and (D') have same meaning.
