A silly question about word order

Are the following sentences written properly?

1) 私は 昨日二時間しかテレビを見ませんでした

2)財布の中に三十円しかありません (Do you use が somewhere in this sentence?)

If I wanted to use currency other than yen in sentence number 2, would the order change?

Both and correct. You don't need to use が, and the word order is the same also for other currencies.
