A little help trying to figure out a word from a video

Hello there again guys,

Its been sometime since I last posted a question here~

This time I just wanted a second opinion on the following video:


starting at 11:00;

しかし、棘つきの ゴンドラ に _______, たちまち残りライフは一に-

I'm guessing the verb I'm not getting is 阻む、in its passive voice,but I just don't trust my ears sometimes, and without some way of making sure I'm getting it right, my anxiety tends to rise T.T

following this section,

再びアイテムで回復を ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿とするが

Is this verb 図る?

Yes and yes. 阻まれ and 図ろうとするが.

Comprehending this show in particular is quite annoying sometimes because 有野さん uses a lot of 大阪弁, my overall confidence levels drop a bit;

Sorry to bring this up again but, what does he say at 35:18 ?

僕の推測は
「(み)かた、増やしてみたい(???)」 I cant hear the み though, its just me trying to make it mean something

Judging from the context, probably it's 味方を増やしてみたよ.

i cant complain much about one's accent though, being able to speak a language ,often presupposes ability to understand its quirks and informal variations in pronouncing as well

I gotta work harder
