I looked for an old thread with this info, but they were filled with off topic junk by NON-Japanese members. I think sometimes new members to JREF think everyone here is Japanese or speaks fluent Japanese. I always feel we have WAY to few Japanese posters here on JREF and get excited when I see new Japanese members join. So many new members have joined lately, I have lost count on which ones are Japanese. I know we have a core group of around 15 or so who have been JREF members for a while.Any new Japanese members feel like checking in and saying HI; old timers feel free to say hello also so we know who you are. Maybe we should also have a thread for all members living in Japan in 2007? Anyway, hello to all our new Japanese members!

It's a long story involving mixi. The morale of that story is don't invite random people into mixi that are not your friends.

I see Japanese people join Jref, but I rarely see them post more than a couple of times. Sometimes they hang out in chat, but not recently.

I'm sure there's more, but these three stick in my memory because i have met two of them in person, and the other was my senpai from Chukyo University.

The ones that confuse me?

In their profile they put they are from Japan, but no more info. Or, they are Japanese, but leave the info "never been to Japan" in the profile. So many I'm not sure about and hope their posts will give more clues, but they never post? My gut feeling says new Japanese members will be too shy to post here in this thread, but I thought I would give it a try.

Yes, I've been so busy with my work in real life.
I often get home around midnight and don't have much energy or time left to check the forum or even my emails at home, and I am not allowed to use emails/internet at work either, so I can only check here on weekends.

It's just a temporary job until the end of March and I may be able to come back in April, hopefully.

It seems that a lot has happend in Jref while I was away, doesn't it...
Human relationship can be so difficult, even more on the internet. How sad.

Anyway, it's so nice to see you guys again.
