皆さんは、こんにちは
お元気ですか。

Hi, so I keep on seeing this at the end of verbs, and I was just wondering what it does.

I seem to only see it at the end of past tence verbs, so maybe it's something like, or work the same way as, like

すしを食べたり、本を買ったりします。

But, anyways.

Like,. I can't get a direct example, because I don't really have one, but I remember seeing

・・・あったら、・・・
somewhere.

Anyways, I've been seeing this for a while, and I'd like to know what it's used for ^^

i already did
i searched what he told me to,and i found that page.
hence how i foudn out what it was.

and since i was only asking about the ~ra part, i wanted to see if my sentence was correct

You need to be aware that ~ra is only one of the conditional forms in Japanese. And it isn't always the correct construction to choose when you want to translate an "if" into Japanese.

Yep, I know.
That's what it said on the tae kim or w/e page.
That's why a wrote all four [plus moshi] down.

like, 'to' is for natural things, like cause and effect.

If I drop the ball, it'll fall. (haha ythat rhymes)

and 'nara(ba)' is like 'if given blah blah'. it relies on the context or whatever.

If (given that) Oprah said that, it must be true.

and 'ba' is the regular if, but emphasizes more on the condition or something.

I will go to the mall, if my mother gives me money.

and 'ra(ba)' is the regular if, but it emphasizes on the result i think? (also, when using na-adj or nouns, do u use this instead of 'ba'?)

If my mother gives me money, I will go to the mall.

of the conditionals, ~ら is the most certain to happen. it is often used for "after," because the conditional statement has a high likelihood of happening. So it could be "If mom gives me money I'll go to the mall," or "I'll go to the mall once mom gives me money"
