Hello,
It's been a while. I have a question about the following usage of ように.
In the dictionary, the definition for ひそか is 人に知られないように物事をするさま。{LINK}
This means "Doing things without people knowing.", right?
It seems like ように indicates the manner in which an action is done here, but none of the definitions HERE fit. The best match would be 2 方法。やり方。(様(よう)の意味 - goo国語辞書). I also can't find this usage explained anywhere, which makes me think I'm getting something wrong.
