1. 魔法界は、ブラックがたった一度の呪いで十三人も殺し た、あの十二年前のような大虐殺が起きるのではと恐れ ている。

a) I suppose 十三人も殺した must modify 大虐殺, right?

b) Since it happened twelve years ago, why 起きる and not 起きた?

c) Why ...起きるのではと恐れている and not 起きるので恐れている?


2. What is あいな? In the context it seems to be some kind of affirmative interjection. Is it a contraction/alteration of something?


3. 「例のあのしと」にどえらく近かったてぇ話だ

Presumably てぇ means て (quoting), does it?


4. ... そいでブラックが杖を取り出して、そいで道の半分ほど ぶっ飛ばしちまった

What is そいで?


5. 「巻き添え食ったのは魔法使いが一人と、ちょうどそこ にいあわせたマグル十二人てぇわけよ。しでえ話じゃぁ ねえか？そんでもってブラックがなにしたと思う？」

a) Is てぇわけ = て (quoting) + わけ? If so, just remind me why て and not って? Is there any difference?

b) Is しでえ話 = 至大話?? If so, why is it not しでえな話?

c) Is そんでもって = それでもって?


6. 魔法省からの王援隊が駆けつけてきた時にゃ、ヤツはや けにおとなしくしょっ引かれてった.

Is ～てった = ～ていった （行った）?


7. 「そんで、こんだぁ、ヤツが逃げた」

What is こんだぁ?

That expresses "possibility (if)", not "because".
