Hi,

この犬は麻薬を嗅ぎ出すよう訓練されている。

The translation given is "This dog is trained to smell out drugs" (i.e. the dog has already been trained), whereas I interpreted it as "This dog is being trained to smell out drugs" (i.e. training is currently in progress). Which is correct, or are both possible?
