あの日思い出す時に、
若い時も思い出す。

て、彼女は、あの夏といなくなった時に、
心の温かさが、どこかに行ちゃた。

探したくない。見つかりたくない。
いる所にそのままに置く。

When I remember that day
I remember the times of my youth.

And when she disappeared with the summer
The warmth of my heart went, too.

I don`t want to look for it. I don`t want to find it.
I will let it stay where it is.

食べられるかも
よく言われている。

しかし、蚯蚓に
食べられるを待っているより、
そちのほうがいい。

They say that if
You ride the tiger,
you may be eaten by it.

But, that is better than
waiting to be eaten
by the worms.

ずっと前に、
君とあちこちに、
にぎやかで生活するのが、
僕の宝。

今は、
年が立ってから、
ただこの快適な古いソファに、
一緒に座るし、
時間を過ごすのが
一番楽しい。

A long time ago,
going out and about here and there,
leading a lively life with you,
was my treasure.

Now,
After years have past,
Just sitting together on this comfortable old sofa and
spending time with you,
is my greatest joy.

I'm not needed, not at all
家族と毎日過ごすのに
I spend every day with family

火は燃え尽きてしまって
The fire has burtn out
僕の涙に沈まれてしまった
drownded in my tears
でもな、まだ暑く感じはしなく
But, i no longer feel any heat
ただ、火傷だけだよ
only burns

菩薩のようなヤツ
To be like a "bosatsu"
なりたいなと思うが、
is my goal
「う」が入ってて、「忙殺」だけで I stay、そのママ。惜しい
But an "U" got in there, and i just stay a boUsatsu, sono mama, nokoru
惜しい、惜しい
oshii, oshii

未来は不明朗だけど
the future is unclear, but
頑張る、一生懸命
"ganbaru," isshoukenmei
イツモの通りネ
like always

頑張れなければ、生きられぬ
if I cannot "ganbaru," I cannot live
だから、応援して頂戴
So, Ouen shite!, please

相手が、
僕の犬達に食べられたの後、
あのー匹のハトが、
彼氏を探すために、
いつも戻ってくる。

だいたい、いつも朝に、
窓から入ってくる
へんな鳴き声を聞こえる。

Even after her partner
Has been eaten by my dogs,
That one pigeon
keeps returning to my yard,
To look for him.

Usually in the morning,
I hear her strange cries
come into my window.

２週間を待っていたの後、
チャンスが出来た。

暗い夜中の中に、
ゆくり、ゆくり、
しずかに行った。

そして、頭から足まで
またく黒い洋服と
ワィヤーカターで、
チェインを切りちゃた。

あら！
犬どろぼになった。

しかたがない。
レスキユーだた、だから。

After waiting for two weeks,
an opportunity appeared.

In the dark midnight hour,
Ever so slowly
and quietly,
I went forward.

Then,from head to foot,
dressed completely in black and
with wire cutters,
I cut the chain.

Oh my!
I`ve become a dog thief.

But what was I to do?
After all, it was a rescue.

冷たい道で
僕の心のほうへ
雪が降っている所です。

雪ですべて隠れて、
どこで歩いたか分からない。
一人で、寒くて、
君の声を待ってる。

温かい所から来たに
帰りたくない、なぜなら
君があちにもういないが分かっている。

By a cold path
on a direction to my heart
is where the snow falls.

Completely hidden by the snow,
I don`t know where I have walked.
Alone and cold,
Waiting for your voice.

I don`t want to return
to the warm place I have come from,
because I know,
you are no longer there.

醜い病気

この世で醜いものは何？
自分の周りで起こっている残酷な出来事、
それを受ける者の苦しみを理解容認できず
無感情でただ眉を吊り上げるだけのバルカン。
それは自分以外の世界には全く優しさを持たないスポック病。

この病気のウィルスは他の者達の生の喜びを奪い取る事、
心のある者達を無関心にさせる事にしか自己の喜びを見いだせない
小さな世界にはびこっている。

あなたの心を優しさで満たすために
哀れみと慈悲という名の抗生物質を飲め。
そうすれば自分以外の者の痛みが理解できる。

スポックでいるな。スポックになるな。
すべての者の心と痛みを理解する
あふれる感情と愛を持った人間であれ！

The Ugly Disease

What is ugly?
It is a raised eyebrow
with an unemotional heart
of a vulcano
who can`t understand or admit
the cruelty and suffering of others.
It is the Spock disease
that is bereft of kindness to the larger circle of life.

This virus lives in a small world
whose joy is to deny the joy of life to others.
Whose joy is to infect others with indifference.

Take the antibiotic of compassion and mercy
to feed your humanity so that it knows empathy.

Don`t be a Spock. Don`t become a Spock.
Stay a human rich with emotion and love
for those beings that feel and cry.

I'll translate it. It wasn't so good though. . .

There are many emotions (feelings) which I have to learn,
I'll only use the ones I can feel in this ______(I forgot that character)

[anyway, in my mind I was playing on sounds and not thinking about the characters I had been writing, so it was a mess. AND more than that even, it was a rush job in order to cover the front page of the forum to save visitors from having to see bad posts by some crazy anti-Japanese 'troll?' or nut. For that, I apologize, but hope you'll understand.]

おじちゃん犬さん、少し我慢して、ね？
ワィヤーカッターですぐ行くよ。
よるになったら。。。

Always tied and
Always crying out,
and always alone.

I wonder,
What kind of person does such a horrible thing to another?

Hold on a little longer old dog.
