1.
出丸： あ～あ、それはセーブしてないのが悪かったよ。
菅原： んなこと言ったってさ～。

I believe the first line means "It was too bad that you didn't save it [the document]".

Is んなこと short for そんなこと? Even if so, I still don't fully get the second line. Could it mean something a bit like "You can say that again!"?


2. ぐる～っと一回転して・・・

I guess this means "I spun right around", but I'm not sure of ぐる and I can't find any relevant meaning in the dictionary. Is is some made-up onomatopoeia?


3. えっ、うっそ～！

I wondered if うっそ～ was an emphatic version of うそ, with a meaning like "no way!" or "you're kidding!" Does that sound right? (It would fit the context.)


4. 私だって、こんな変な失敗、初めてよ～。

My translation: "It's the first time I've made such an odd mistake."

What does だって mean here? "too/also" does not appear to make obvious sense.


5. 知らないよ・・・ってゆうかね、もう、恥ずかしくって さ、「すみませ～ん」とかって謝ったんだけどね・・・

My translation: "I don't know ... I mean, I was so embarrassed I (just) said 'sorry' ..."

What is the purpose of もう here?

1. To me, まさかデータが消えるとは思わなかったんだ seems to means "I never thought the data would be lost". However, I do not really understand the connection with そんなこと言ったって, or the purpose of saying そんなこと言ったって. My current guess is that it could mean something like "You may say that, but ..." (i.e. easy to say that now (but I didn't realise I would lose the data))?

By the way, the reason I didn't find ぐるっと in the dictionary is that I thought it was ぐるっ (or something abbreviating to that) + と (particle indicating adverbial sense), so was only looking up the first part. Do you think of ぐるっと as "one word" or as a combination of descriptive word plus particle?
