1. Apologies if I have asked this question before. If I have, I can't now locate it. Is the sentence-end particle わ etymologically related to the particle は?


2. あれらはあちこちへと移動していきます。

In this case does いきますhave a literal meaning of moving from one place to another, or does it mean that the action 移動して continues over time?


3. いつもの辞書を手近においておきなさい。

What does いつもの辞書 mean? I thought it ought to mean "the dictionary you always use / always have with you", but then the instruction 手近においておきなさい would be fairly redundant.

The dictionary you always use is not always nearby, is it? (It might be always on your desk in your home, for instance.)
