Up until now everything seemed to be clear to me:
- read なか for "inside" like 箱の中「なか」に和菓子がある
- read ちゅう for "in the process of" like 仕事中「ちゅう」寝ちゃった
- read じゅう for "during/duration" like 晩中「じゅう」お好み焼きを三丁食べました ( 午前ちゅう being an exception)
But now i've learned that CATEGORYの中でSUBJECTが一番ATTRIBUTE like ロシア料理の中でブリヌイが一番好きだ
And that was quite a surprise for me to find out that 中 here is なか, because i thought it would be more like じゅう from 世界中.
Is it 世界中's reading that's out of ordinary? Are there any other pecularities of 中 readings usage?
And a bonus question: what's the difference between 普通 and たいてい?
