1. あまりなじみがないかもしれないが、彼はラジオ番組のアナウンサーをしている。

Somehow I feel unsure about this. Does it mean "He may not have been very familiar/well-known (to you / people in general), but he presented radio programmes"? Or is it the fact that he presented radio programmes that is not very well known?


2. いろいろあっても／考えても、そういういう結論になる。

Is そういういう just a typo?


3. 「結局、正直者が馬鹿を見る」ということにはなってほしくない。

I believe that the part in quotes means "In the end, honesty does not pay", but I don't really understand にはなってほしくない or the overall point of the sentence. Previously the text has been saying that if you work hard you will do well, and there are always winners and losers. How does this sentence relate to that? Could the speaker be discouraging the reader from adopting a 「正直者が馬鹿を見る」 attitude perhaps?


4. This is part of an explanation of various uses of あまり, such as あまりに（も）＋［形容詞］（～て／ので・・・）:

その結果どんなことになるか、「～て、～ので、～に」の後に示す。

Is どんなことになるか the object of 示す? Who/what is the likely subject of 示す?

Basicall the same. は emphasizes the meaning, like as "especially".
