Please help. I do not know how to read this. This sign has been showing on my dashboard for weeks now

thank you, appreciate your reply. i've had the engine oil changed recently though. wonder why it shows

Probably the oil change reset timer wasn't properly reset after the oil was changed.
This is usually a manual process. Cars are not smart enough to know if their oil was changed.
Probably if you Google your year, make, model car for how to reset the oil change warning you can find the procedure to reset it.
