WWII Japanese Flag Real?

Hi yall,

Id like some help identifying if the good luck flag I have is real or fake. I have my suspicions about it and fortunately this site seems to have knowledgable people. Any help on the writing and if its real or fake would be great! Thank you in advance

Horrible fake. Avoid.
Orientation is all screwed up, writing is screwed up. The names are fine, but the names were probably taken from a Japanese phone book or some other thing where one can find more or less legitimate-sounding names.

Im curious to learn what the correct orientation of these flags are, was there a specific way they wrote on them? Is there any slogans or just random names? Just wondering since I want to learn more about these flags. Im not very knowledgable.

The flag in the thread below is a typical WW2 yosegaki flag, with correct orientation. The most important information (recipient's name, and the organization that presented the flag) is in large characters down the right side of the flag. Often there is a good luck wish also written vertically down the right side. Or, sometimes there can be a good luck wish written horizontally across the top (usually right-to-left, but it could also be written left to right).

There are no patriotic phrases on your flag. Just names.
