Mystery signed bronze figure

Hello everyone — I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

I need some help identifying this beautiful bronze statute. It is signed on the robe and I think it's Japanese but none of my translation apps recognize it.

I think this is Kannon or Guanyin with a scroll. Any guidance would be most appreciated.

I think you are correct about it being Kannon. Jikyō Kannon (Kannon with sutra scroll)

I'm not sure, but it looks like the signature is 京岳 (Kyōdake).
There is an artist who worked in bronze, who uses the name Tōdake (東岳), which is similar to the one on your sculpture, but the signature on yours is different enough so that it cannot be the same artist - unless the artist changed his signature style. Or, the signature on yours could be from an apprentice who was allowed the use of the 岳 kanji, and developed his own art name of Kyōdake. In other words, your signature could be somehow related to Tōdake. Here is a link to one of the works of Tōdake so you can see the similarities/differences.
