SOBA is the tradition but if you don´t like SOBA or if you have allergy with soba, then I think it´s OK to eat udon instead

Yes, it´s true. 8 hours advanced in Japan than in Spain

We had curry udon but the thinner type of udon, similar to soba. (My wife doesn't like soba.) Anyway hopefully the long noodles will give us long life.

So gorgeous and I can see you are celebrating really great a New Year in Japan.
Lasagne in between is a good idea so as not to get bored with OSECHI for a few days.

Usually we drink homemade anzu酒 but this year it was some nigori mango 酒. I thought it was ok but my wife didn't care for it.
