Hello,

1) It says HERE that ~には困ったものだ means "it's annoying that...". As an example sentence they give
すぐに全部を忘れちゃうなんて、彼には困ったものだよ。 = " It's annoying that he forgets everything so quickly. "

Could you help me understand how には困ったものだ is made up grammatically? My guess is as follows:

2) I also have a few old sentences with もの that I've wanted to ask about for some time.

a) From よつばと. They went to a pool that's just been renovated. This is their reaction when they first see it.
ジャンボ:なんだきれいになったなー
父さん:立派なもんだ
Is this もの used as "5 ㋑感動する気持ちを強調して示す。 " (物(もの)の意味 - goo国語辞書)?

b) よつば:ロボットはシュークリームたべないのになー?
恵那:そーだね ロボットはお金しか食べないもん

Is もの used here as "thing"? I'd translate it as "Right, robots are things that can only eat money".

c) I think the context here was that Yotsuba received some fireworks from Asagi, so Jambo suggests that they should return the favor.
ジャンボ:よつば…花火をもらったら花火でお礼をしなきゃならんのじゃないか?
よつば:ほーーいいこというな…?
ジャンボ:きれいな花火をあさぎさんに見せてあげたらきっと喜ぶな?
よつば:そーな!はなびきれいもんな!

Is もの used as " ❷⒈㋑(「ものね」「ものな」などの形で)詠嘆の意をこめて理由を表す。 " (もの[接助終助]の意味 - goo国語辞書)"?
I am thinking that because she uses きれいもん instead of きれいもん, this もの must be a particle, instead of a noun like in the examples above.

2) a)
Yes.

b)
That's a sentence ending particle, as you quoted in #c.

c)
Yes, that's a sentence ending particle as I wrote above, but the correct form Yotsuba should use is はなびきれいもんな. Notice that this particle is 活用語の終止形に付く.

Thank you! I don't know if you took a look at #1 as well, but if you did, can you please confirm if I got it right or not?

d) Also, I have another one that I would like to check.
よつば:とーちゃん!このいえクーラーあるか!?
父さん:お クーラーか!ばーちゃんちはなかったもんな。じーちゃんがクーラー嫌いなんだよ。
Here, is もの used as "5 ㋓(「…したものだ」の形で)過去を思い出してなつかしむ気持ちを示す。 " (物(もの)の意味 - goo国語辞書)?

5) There is also this page on GOO辞書, in the 英和 section: ものを英語で訳す - goo辞書 英和和英. It says it's for the 終助詞 もの, but all the examples seem like the noun 物, except for the last one (だっていやなんだもの). Am I misunderstanding something?
-もの
  1. ((終助詞))
  2. 1〔当然のを表して〕
    • 彼が言わなかったもので[だから]知らなかった
    • Since [As] he didn't say so, I didn't know it.
  3. 2〔感嘆,希望〕
    • つまらぬことをしたものだ
    • What a stupid thing he has done!
    • ひどい目にあったものだ
    • That was a terrible experience indeed.
    • 理由を聞きたいものだね
    • I should like to know the reason.
  4. 3〔過去に度々したこと〕
    • 若いころはよく山登りをしたものだ
    • I used to go mountain climbing frequently when I was young.
  5. 4〔断定,強調〕
    • そんなことは自分でするものです
    • You must do that for yourself.
    • だれがそんなことをするものか
    • Who would do such a thing?
    • だっていやなんだもの
    • But I really hate it [the idea]!

I don't know if you took a look at #1 as well, but if you did, can you please confirm if I got it right or not?
Oh, sorry, I forgot mentioning it. Yes, your understanding is correct.

d) Also, I have another one that I would like to check.
よつば:とーちゃん!このいえクーラーあるか!?
父さん:お クーラーか!ばーちゃんちはなかったもんな。じーちゃんがクーラー嫌いなんだよ。

Your interpretation can be correct, but another interpretation "the same particle as #b and c" also can be possible. I think it's the latter since he shows that he understands why Yotsuba asked that there rather than thinking about past with nostalgia. Also, なあ would be more common for your interpretation.

Your understanding is correct. Those are 形式名詞 rather than 終助詞.

Thanks, Toritoribe! I guess the use of the 終助詞 もの is more common than I expected.
