Is my usage of には correct here?

I'm not sure if I formed this correctly, I was trying to say:

When I lived in Yokohama I went to a Tai Chi class in Yokohama Chinatown every week.

横浜に住んだときには毎日横浜中華街で太極拳のクラツに行きました。

Ack... I meant to say every week. Well, presumably my friend now thinks I'm a Tai Chi aficionado.

I felt reasonably sure of everything except には (I considered のは first). If I had the vocabulary I probably should have used something like 出席しました, I think the 行きました in there is probably not smooth, even if it's grammatically correct.

Questions:
1. Does the sentence make sense?
2. Is には correct there?
3. Is there a better way to express 'weekly class' and other recurring activities?

1. Its understandable.
2. You don't need it - you've already stated the "when" by using とき. I think it also sounds better if you use past progressive 横浜に住んでいたとき
3. 毎週 is fine. (Yes, with a daily class you would be a Tai Chi expert by now!)
4. クラツ → クラス

It's understandable. I think it would be better to put a comma after ときor just に by itself. As for verbs, I'd probably use 通う. The biggest mistake is using クラツ for class. Should be クラス. I'd probably use 教室. Or maybe 道場 would be appropriate for Tai Chi, I don't know.

Incidentally, には works as a contrastive marker, therefore it has a nuance that you went to a different class or didn't go to a Tai Chi class every week(maybe everyday or maybe every month) in another place.

The biggest mistake is using クラツ for class. Should be クラス.

I meant 中華街の太極拳教室 or 中華街にある太極拳教室. Sorry for confusing. The meaning is the same. の and にある both indicates the location in this case.

I meant 中華街の太極拳教室 or 中華街にある太極拳教室. Sorry for confusing. The meaning is the same. の and にある both indicates the location in this case.
