help with ように and それから in review question

Hi all,
Can I please ask the meaning of ように and それから in the following review question.
I usually think of ように as.... like this or in this way etch, but that doesn't seem to fit here. Also それから in this case seems more like.... furthermore or in addition.
The context is a teacher explaining to students the correct way to submit their report. Which in this case is to place in the submissions box placed outside the office. The teacher also instructs them on what not to do.
S: えー、この授業のレポートですが、来週の金曜日までに出してください。私の研究室の前に、箱を置いておきますから、レポートはそこに入れるように。郵便やEメールで送ってきたり、直接私に渡したりしないようにしてください。それから、時々レポートはが間に合わなかった学生が研究室に相談にくることがありますが、それもだめです。

ように。・ようにしてください ・ようにしなさい etc. is a way of giving orders/instructions. With plain ように。 at the end you can consider it as having dropped something like してください・しなさい

(In some other cases, ように at the end of a sentence is a wish/hope - 明日晴れるように。- 祈っています or something similar is dropped in this case).

それから is used because it's a continuation of the same theme (what to do and not do about the report). "In addition" is fine there - note also she says それもだめ

I see, the dreaded auto filled は I should have read it more carefully before I posted.
Thanks for your help guys. I guess this nuance is used a lot in schools and offices when talking to subordinates perhaps? It would be stronger then してください、しなさい wouldn't it?

Politeness levels of speech and their selection are just as strongly associated with social situation or occasion as they are with the relative social standings of the people present...if not even more so.

Just because the teacher occupies a higher status than the students does not dictate that the teacher use plain/impolite speech forms.

Note that the teacher may (or may not) drop his speech level when talking to any of the students in a different setting.

Speech level "code switching" is a common thing in Japanese speaking.

The reason why I asked is because I am trying to work out how to explain to restaurant staff that me wife is vegetarian ....
I will work on it and start a new thread to see if I am right.
