Hello everyone,

I just arrived in Japan, and as you may know, there are a lot of furninture exchange between those who arrive and those who left japan.
But I was wondering : let's imagine someone sells me a fridge, an old one, but for only 5000Y. if I say yes to his offer, how can I bring back the fridge to my place ?

We both don't have a car, so, do you have any idea how we could do that ?
I heard something about "kuroneko" but isn't it expensive ?
Do you have any cheap solution ? Otherwise, I will have to buy a new one ...

Thanks again for your answers ;)

You can rent a small truck if someone has a license. Or you can hire a company such as Akabou or the like to move it for you. If you have some large items to purchase from a home center which offers free loan of a small truck, you can move your fridge at the same time, though that's a bit devious.

You can also just buy your things from a recycle shop (inexpensive used goods) and the shop will deliver.

That's a good information.
Do you where I can find a recycle shop ? I mean, if I just type "recycle shop" on google map, will I find one of these shops you think ?
Or, is there may be a brand name that a can search ?
By the way, I am leaving in shinagawa, so if you know one of them in the area, please, give the address ;)

Thanks again for all these ;)

Try this place. They have free delivery for purchases over 10,000 yen. If you get a washing machine, they will set it up for you.
